As part of the Talent Acquisition team who manages the global background check process for all employees and interns, this role will help maintain compliance and regulations.

What you'll bring

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition managing programs, background screening preferred
  • Experience in HR, law, compliance, and /or document management preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and tact in dealing with confidential issues with complete discretion
  • Comfortable interacting with various levels of internal customers, managing expectations, and having sensitive conversations with applicants
  • Excellent ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Preferred:

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel or Google Sheets. Experience using formulas, macros, and VBA. Or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Experience with pre-employment background screening practices and procedures.
  • How you will lead

  • Manage the pre-employment background screening program for Intuit.
  • This position requires a candidate with strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a willingness to dive deep into projects.
  • Responsible for having conversations with applicants related to possible adverse screening results and maintaining strict confidentiality related to those discussions.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Operations and other cross-functional partners to scale the program including efficiency gains, workflow improvement, and process changes.
  • Ensure maximum possible compliance with all local laws and regulations. Partner with the Senior Program Manager to analyze and drive projects and initiatives to completion.
  • Use data to optimize processes, creatively solve problems, and diagnose/identify areas for further improvement.
  • Synthesize recommendations and share with key stakeholders to drive business decisions. Communicate cross-functionally to ensure timely resolutions and information integrity
  • Monitors progress of screening process, addresses any issue that may be causing a delay and communicates with applicable parties
  • Perform scheduled audits using multiple data sources, reporting results to stakeholders
  • Adjudicate pre-hire employment background checks
  • Assesses results of background checks and risks as related to the position for which an individual is being considered and consults with background screening review team determine appropriate outcomes
