This role consists of providing leadership and direct services within a systems-based framework using a variety of psycho-educational and clinical models, adhering to the highest professional ethical standards.  Our Social Worker is responsible for ensuring that appropriate clinical strategies, coordination of treatment implementation, and documentation are maintained with a primary focus around CA Adult programs.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide clinical support for all clients
  • Direct and guide efforts of counselors, volunteers, and interns to endure alignment with CA Humans Service goals and objectives
  • Promote and expand Adult Programs: Readiness, Residential, and Community Support
  • Provide general support to the organization as needed
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and families, staff members, and the public
  • Attend and participate in appropriate meetings, remotely and in-person
  • Model values and best practices of the organization
  • Work with supervisor to develop, implement, and maintain a quality assurance system
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of program policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned




Requirements

Successful Candidates Must Have:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker required
  • At least 4 years experience overseeing programming to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential and or community settings
  • At least 2 years experience managing and/or providing technical supervision to a team of professionals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant software
  • Self-directed approach to improve and enhance the programming
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptable to change in the work environment and ability to manage competing demands
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and dependable personal vehicle
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
  • Willingness to maintain on-call hours as assigned (nights & weekends)
  • Submit to a background check, fingerprint clearance card, and TB test
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, sit, or stand for periods longer than 30 minutes
