This is a fully remote, part-time or full-time position with a flexible work schedule. In addition, each patient is assigned a care coordinator who handles scheduling, prescriptions, care coordination and other administrative tasks. That way, you can focus on what you do best: patient care.
What You’ll Do
Provide care to patients part time (<20 hours/week) or full time (30-40 hours/week) via telemedicine (remote), with opportunity for additional hours
Perform psychiatric evaluations of patients, including diagnosing and treating patients over video via full-length intakes and follow-ups
Evaluate patient records, make prescribing decisions, and provide medication-related counseling, leveraging insights from the patient’s pharmacogenomic test results
Work with a collaborative care team to provide the best care
Provide unparalleled clinical customer service through prompt (72-hour response window) and empathetic care
Basic Qualifications
Masters or doctorate degree from an accredited nursing school
Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
At least one year of experience as a PMHNP
Active CA state medical license and DEA registration
Technologically proficient and excited about how technology can be used to improve the quality of mental healthcare
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed to practice in states beyond CA
2+ years of experience providing outpatient telepsychiatry services
Comfort using pharmacogenomic testing tools such as from Genomind or GeneSight
PMHNP Board Certification
