Zions Bancorporation is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to join the Salesforce Product Management team! Top candidates will have excellent communication and critical thinking skills, complemented by experience with the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Business Analyst will play a key role in the internal Salesforce Product team and is positioned as a liaison between stakeholders and the rest of the team. This person will build relationships with key business and operations stakeholders in order to better understand what they need to maximize their effectiveness and will bring that knowledge and context back to the team help develop the company’s Salesforce platform.

We’re looking for a relationship builder, someone who collaborates well and possess the high emotional intelligence to build and maintain successful relationships with our business stakeholders. Someone with the creativity and curiosity to deeply understand their business needs and use that knowledge along with strong judgement and critical thinking to transform those needs into practical, deliverable, processes. Last, but not least, the candidate would be data literate and able to manipulate and understand data in order to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Manage relationships with internal business stakeholders
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business processes, requirements, systems and user needs with final result of process maps and documentation in ADO
  • Create features and epics to support prioritization of platform development
  • Provide support within the functional areas of data management, contacts, leads, campaigns, opportunities, quotes, dashboards and reports in Salesforce
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards within Salesforce based on the needs of the business
  • Create and maintain documentation and training materials related to projects
  • Assist the Product Managers with managing various vendor relationships related to Salesforce
  • Assist with helpdesk queue as level 2 support for escalated issues
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing for new features and enhancements
  • Assist in implementation of Salesforce functionality to the users as needed
  • Collaborate with the various Salesforce teams to ensure optimal delivery of Salesforce functionality
  • Participate in product delivery teams leveraging an Agile framework
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Required Skills

  • Strong elicitation techniques
  • Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and/or process improvement recommendations. Some experience with project methodology.
  • Working knowledge of business processes and systems, programming and systems analysis procedures.
  • Knowledge of project techniques and practices.
  • Knowledge of configuration management and change management.
  • Basic understanding of software development methodologies, e.g. Agile, Waterfall
  • Requires a Bachelor's finance, technology or a related field and 2+ yrs business analyst experience in banking process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements or other directly related experience.
  • Strong problem solving, analysis and clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees to resolve problems and improve processes or systems.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
  • Prior analysis and data interpretation to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients beneficial.
  • Excel skills for transformation and loading large data sets
  • Preferred skills:

  • Salesforce.com administrative and support experience; including Salesforce certifications
  • Banking experience
  • QA testing (i.e. Developing test plans, test scripts, and executing both)
  • Experience with Data Loader, Demand Tools
  • Visio and/or Lucidchart
  • ADO and/or JIRA
  • Experience with Data Mapping and Migration
  • Organizational Change Management experience
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

    Ideally this position is located in Salt Lake City (3 days in office, 2 days remote) but is open for remote within the continental United States.

    Salary Range: $65,000 - $110,000
