Our client, a prominent healthcare system, is seeking a REMOTE Intermediate ETL/ORACLE SQL / CERNER CCL Developer. The ideal candidate is a healthcare developer who has worked on extracting data from EHRs using Cerner Command Language (CCL) from Oracle and SQL databases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Experience with ORACLE/SQL/ CERNER CCL
  • Experience with HL7 Interfaces and 835/837 EDI formats preferred.
  • Requires 2+ years of technical experience with T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MDX, Stored Procedures and Triggers.
  • Knowledge in database applications, report writing, screen modifications, scripting and data structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business users to define and understand business requirements related to changes and enhancements of existing enterprise data warehouse.
  • Understand existing ETL tool business logic / rules, data sources and convert same ETL jobs and resolve production issues with ETL workflows
  • Perform unit testing of development jobs before submitting it to Business UAT, develop technical documentation, including requirements documents, process overviews, data models, and data flow
  • Communicate all issues, risks, concerns and status to management, business partners and other departments in a timely manner
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
  • Ensure Compliance and IT governance methods, processes, and tools are followed/used
