Looking for a self-motivated Senior Android Engineer who is passionate about working in an adventurous cutting edge video streaming space. You will be part of a diverse and experienced team of passionate engineers who love a good challenge!
Responsibilities:
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
- Design interfaces to improve user experience
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Android using Java in a modern IDE such as Android Studio
- Deep understanding of Android SDK and common used open source libraries
- Deep understanding of UI design such as layouts, constraints and widgets.
- Experience with a SDLC/Agile workplace environment
- Advanced OOP
- GIT/SVN experience
- Efficient approach to debugging
- Detail-oriented
- Self-starter and able to work productively from home/remote
