The Field Manager, Credit Balance role will be responsible for the operational leadership of an assigned geographic territory of providers for the Credit Balance business unit. This position provides strategic leadership as well as day to day management for a team of Regional Account Managers (RAM) in the assigned territory, and is responsible for provider relationships at multiple levels, client satisfaction, and achieving/exceeding production targets for the assigned territory. Responsibilities include: developing and implementing strategy focused on achieving/exceeding production goals for team, building and maintaining multi-level provider relationships, and supervision and development of front-line staff. As a member of the Credit Balance Field leadership team, you will also liaise with the National Directors, Credit Balance in understanding customer expectations and developing strategies and operational plans to address current and future business needs.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to either work in office in the Central Texas area or telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements strategic initiatives for assigned territory focused on driving results, developing team, and maximizing provider relationships at all levels
  • Establishes, builds and maintains key provider (client) relationships at locations throughout the assigned territory. Responsible for managing relationships at all leadership levels at each provider within the territory
  • Is accountable for the meeting/exceeding P&L goals for the assigned territory. Manages the daily operation to ensure targets are achieved from a production, quality and relationship perspective
  • Utilizes market knowledge to identify trends and develop and implement solutions. Communicates with leader and peers to ensure best practices are identified and shared
  • Owns the talent management process throughout territory with a focus on development of key performers, recruitment, succession planning and performance management
  • Provides ongoing technical and relationship coaching and training to team to ensure performance and developmental goals are achieved and maintained
  • Day to day management of a team of field based Regional Account Managers (RAM's) providing strategic leadership, technical and operational coaching and next level support
  • Represents field leadership on special projects as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant business experience
  • 3+ years of direct report people management
  • 3+ years of client management and/or account management experience
  • Demonstrated successfully managing P&L
  • Experience building and maintaining multi-level customer relationships through communication, collaboration and efficiency.
  • Strong ability to accurately assess risk and willingness to make independent decisions based upon those assessments
  • Experience using MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong financial acumen, the ability to establish aggressive goals & deliver results
  • Strong communication skills; able to effectively communicate to direct reports, Sr. Leadership & matrix partners on a consistent basis
  • Must be able to effectively manage a field staff based at multiple customer locations

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to build and maintain multi-level customer relationships through communication, collaboration and efficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail & time management skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong ability to accurately assess risk and willingness to make independent decisions based upon those assessments
  • Able to work independently in remote environment
