We are excited to consider a remote team member! Remote team members will be expected to work out of their home office.

Your Opportunity

Are you passionate about recognizing customer problems and innovating to build technology that solves them at scale while simplifying the lives of everyday software engineers?

With New Relic Applied Intelligence, we help customers efficiently discover and prevent potential problems, reduce the flood of noisy redundant alerts that make it hard to prioritize issues, then get to the root cause of every incident with automatic insights!

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our fast-growing team.

Join us to play a meaningful part in building a technologically challenging and unique product that will be an integral part of the New Relic product suite.

What You’ll Do

Lead the product with a team of very technical engineers.

In collaboration with the group GM and product team, you will define a detailed, rolling product roadmap based on the product strategy

Drive the alignment of key releases to deliver on the roadmap.

Meticulously think through every aspect of the overall customer experience, putting users’ needs first in the definition of requirements.

Lead the business during the full product lifecycle – from requirements definition, to delivery, to end of life – collaborating with other teams across the company, including Engineering, UX, Ops, Support, and Marketing and Sales counterparts.

Oversee the entire development lifecycle of products and features.

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 5 + years experience with SaaS and cloud-based software product management; bonus if those were monitoring or technical products
  • Ability to communicate effectively complex things in a simple manner including technical requirements
  • Can demonstrate technical orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player, but has the ability to lead projects independently with little guidance
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills, including data analysis
  • Worked with at least 2 different medium-size engineering teams
  • Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with product management tools (road mapping, mocks, wireframes, project management, Git tools, UI/UX tools)
  • Experience with managing software development cycles implementing agile methodologies
  • Can demonstrate and articulate past product decisions, product architecture, and conflict management examples.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or an equivalent
  • We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

We're looking for bold and passionate people to be a part of our mission to create more perfect software. We'd love to have you apply, even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement. What's most important to us is finding authentic and accountable people who feel connected to our mission and values, not just candidates who check off all the boxes.

We believe in empowering all Relics to achieve professional, and business success through a workforce model called Flex First. The Flex First model allows us to work in a variety of workplaces that best support our success, including fully office-based, fully remote, or a combination of both.
